Residential Dumpster Rental in Maryland

Residential Dumpster Rentals for Cleanouts, Renovations & Moves

The residential work is why most of our containers leave the yard: a basement that finally gives up its secrets, an estate that needs a gentle hand, a kitchen torn down to the studs, a garage reclaimed before the cars return, a family move that leaves half a house behind.
Home projects run on nights, weekends, and hard deadlines — so our terms are built around them: 15 days standard on site (not the industry’s 7–10), up to 15 tons per container, and a direct cell number that a person answers at (410) 808-7000.
Book online in a few clicks, or call and describe the project — either way, real pricing, no quote games.

The Projects Behind the Containers

  • Estate and downsizing clearances — the careful work. We move at the family’s pace, not the calendar’s, and coordinate around attorneys, realtors, and siblings out of state. Our Towson and Timonium customers rent for this more than any other reason
  • Whole-home cleanouts — decades of accumulation leaving in one container; most homes clear in a single 20-yard, with a fast swap if the attic says otherwise
  • Renovations — kitchens, baths, basements, flooring. DIYers and contractors alike run our boxes on residential schedules; debris weight is predictable and the scale decides the overage
  • Garage and basement reclamations — the classic weekend; heavy storage items roll in through the walk-in rear door (loading tips)
  • Moving and move-out purges — what stays behind leaves in one box; Rosedale downsizers and Abingdon turnovers both run on closing and lease dates
  • Rowhouse and city cleanouts — one floor at a time on tight lots; the residential rhythm of Baltimore City

Placement, Driveways & Permits

Residential placement is the easy case: your driveway or pad takes any container with zero paperwork anywhere we serve. Boards go down wherever you want surface protection, and the low-profile boxes keep sightlines open where neighbors notice. The only permit conversation is public right-of-way placement — rare for homes, flagged before booking, and usually solved by smarter placement.

How It Works

1
Book online or call (410) 808-7000 — describe the project; we’ll match the box in two minutes
2
Same-week drop — driveway or pad, tight and level, boards on request
3
Load through the walk-in rear door — no lifting over walls; heavy pieces roll
4
15 days standard — $10/day beyond; most home projects finish early
Working around a listing date, closing, or estate timeline? Tell us both ends and the container plan anchors to them. First rental? The quick-start rental guide covers what goes in, what stays out, and how to load for zero surprises.

Residential Dumpster FAQs

The 20-yard fits most 3–4 bedroom homes in one box. Packed attics, basements, or outbuildings add a swap or step to the 30 — we size it honestly on the call, and swaps are fast.

15 days standard — double the typical hauler window — then $10/day. Cleanouts rarely need more; renovations sometimes do, and that’s fine.

Boards go under the rails on request, which covers nearly every residential surface. On pavers or fresh asphalt, say so at booking and we’ll place with extra care.

On your own property, no — anywhere we serve. Right-of-way placement is the exception, and we flag it before you book, with a placement alternative.

The short list: wet paint, tires, batteries, and appliances with refrigerant — Maryland rules, covered fully in the rental guide. Everything else from a house loads as standard debris.

Wet debris weighs more — carpet, drywall, and upholstery soak up water fast, and weight is what the scale reads. Tarps over the load before rain, or load absorbent items last; the loading guide covers the wet-weight trick that saves people real money.

On the truck, at pickup, on a certified scale — never estimated in your driveway. You pay the included tonnage plus $125/ton for what the load truly weighed, and we can tell you the number the same day.
